The fourth blog DERZEIT has collaborated with and whose author we'd like to call our ambassador in the UK: Lee Dales, master of the avant-garde kaleidoscopic, vibrating menswear fashion blog "Parrots and Peacocks!". Since late 2011, the blog is meant "for guys in patterned ties, and blokes who like their statement coats. Color is the new black!" And in this case vibrating is meant literally: Hold on to your computer, there's crazy gifs coming up! Lee's a pro in summing up a collection's essence in just a few words. Himself, his look resembles his ingenious photoshop collages: multi-colored, patterned outfits. Because "life is too short to wear black and grey, unless of course, it has a cool pattern on it." With his writing he aims to escape the daily grind for a little while. He doesnt' mind attending fashion shows either. Among his favorite designers are Bernhard Willhelm "for the crazy makeup, dancing and pattern clashing", Walter van Beirendonck "for his use of colour and atypical model selection" or Fam Irvoll, a little known Swede, not to mention the Brits including Louise Gray, Meadham Kirchhoff, Shaun Samson, Kit Neale, Katie Eary. Well, we hope from now on, some Berlin talents will brighten up his life as well. Besides dropping names here, it's Lee's personal fashion statemen it, that it's all about wearing something that looks nice, and puts a smile on other people’s faces. Maybe that's what blogging should be all about as well – you're ahead of the curve Lee.
